Job Summary

A Project Manager plans, executes, and delivers projects within defined scope, time, and budget. They coordinate teams, manage resources, mitigate risks, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure quality outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to achieve project objectives successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering, identifying and documenting business/software requirements (SRS) as per solution requirements of the client
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings with clients and the development team
  • Simplifying business requirements to the whole team
  • Determining and defining project scope and objectives
  • Preparing budgets based on the scope of projects and resource requirements and managing the allocated budget
  • Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans
  • Creating functional specifications for new systems and processes and business process modelling
  • Managing software projects and developing functional requirements of systems to improve quality, performance, external interfaces, and constraints of the system solution
  • Measuring project performance to identify areas for improvements and adjust as needed
  • Monitoring project progress and providing project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders and ensuring that the client's business requirements will be achieved through the final product
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Analyzing and managing strategic stakeholder engagement
  • Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP or Agile Scrum (preferred)
  • 1-3+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or software development life-cycle
  • Strong understanding of Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and business process modeling
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, MS Project, etc.)
  • Familiarity with functional and non-functional requirement gathering
  • Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements
